MPAGDP is a cultural association dedicated to documenting, valuing and disseminating musical processes and practices, as well as manifestations of popular culture. Its mission is to create a collection of oral tradition and collective memory of Portugal in the 21st century. In this process, one of its main objectives is to dignify and enhance the wisdom of the elders, as well as the practices still maintained by the younger generation and new ones that contribute to the diversification of music.
